The feet of Christmas.
Get that Christmas feeting.
Step into Christmas.
This is a cuddly mirror.
Eight feet are better than four.
Furry symmetry.
“I can’t talk now. No, really!”
Koala says, “Eat leaves all day, tongue turns green.”
Step through the cuddly mirror into Christmas
with your blue spruce shoes,
but beware the furry symmetry
or things will not go real smooth tonight
young Koala.

Happy Canada Day! It’s neat to hear fireworks going off. Only one week before my big overseas trip! Such a lot going on and just had a cold. I almost bit off the end of my tongue and got stung by a bee, what’s a metaphor for all that lol? Hope you’ve enjoyed a super weekend and have a great week!
Have a great trip and a Happy Canada Day. We’re gearing up for the July 4th, but no fireworks. All the fires and dry weather have everyon on edge. Have a great week too!
Yes it’s a terrible time to get in party mode for July 4th. Thinking of you all especially those close to the fires.
Have a great trip! I have been busy but have kept my tongue and the closest I came to bees was sweet, sweet honey.

Ballett, Christmas Day
I’ll watch left
And you watch right
And things will go
Real smooth tonight.
I love me some leaves.
And I think you love you some koala!
Enjoy the sweet honey and thanks for the great metaphors, Penny. Check back later and I’ll put up a poem
I like “Step into Christmas”
I should have saved that one for Christmas, seems a bit weird in this heat
Happy belated Canada Day. We’ll be setting off some fireworks this week for the 4th. Have a great overseas trip. Love those pics.
Enjoy the fireworks, Ciara!
What great inspirations! Yes, Happy Belated Canada Day! Hope you enjoyed it while staying cool.
You too, Vicki. The pool is a saving grace!
Fun! I’ll come back if I can – busy catching up on the 12×12 blog-hop-party!
Hi Julie, that’s what I’m doing too
Happy Canada Day!
Love these pics and the prose Catherine, especially the koala!
Denise
Thanks Denise!
That also happens with green wine gums. And they taste a whole lot better.
Hi Binky! It’s been too long. Have you come to visit your furry cousins?
Hope you had a great Canada day!
Yes, I get stuck in the lab too much these days. Hope you had a good Canada Day, too. Any day with fireworks is a good day to me!
All these are so very cute! Pictures and words!! Have a wonderful, safe trip.
Thanks Freeda!

That’s so pretty Elizabeth, clever! Same to you.
Love the Koala photo! Hope you have a great trip!!!
Thanks Coleen!
I love that picture of the green feet and the “Step through the cuddly mirror into Christmas.” Of course you can add a touch of Christmas to your July posts, especially with a little magical touch of a mirror that we can step into! Happy Canada Day! I enjoyed a great fireworks show last night, which we were able to watch right out front! Last year there was a storm and the fireworks show got rained out, so it was a nice treat. Wow, talk about magical. Nothin’ like an awesome fireworks display. I especially love those twinkle light bursts!
Oh, I forgot to say, besides, Christmas will be here in a blink, anyway. Hope you have a wonderful trip, Catherine!
Fireworks outside your door sounds awesome! And thanks I’m getting excited.
sweet one catherine
Thanks!
