Catherine gives Thanks

sarah

When Cathy Mealey described Mike Allegra as a rabble rouser the other day in her comments section, it had me thinking that would make a great subject for a poem. So here it is:

I am a rabble rouser
I rarely miss a day
I bend and twist
and limber up
my fellow mates at play.
So if you’re feeling sluggish
lethargic, off your game
just find me in the party room
you’ll be so glad you came.

p.s. Sarah Gives Thanks is a delightful book. I learned so much about Thanksgiving that I didn’t know before. And Sarah is an inspiration to women everywhere.

And talking of parties, here’s some birthday cake :0)
