I had a funny incident in the grocery store today that of course I must share with you. Who am I to keep a funny story to myself. So, anyway, I was strolling around the store when I rounded a corner into the coffee aisle only to find it pretty occupied. It was too late to back up though
A man was perusing the coffee but another man was stood waiting to pass because coffee man left his trolley in the way. Coffee man was big and when he backed up to move his trolley to let the man through, he tripped over an innocent lady’s trolley
Thank goodness he didn’t fall right over or I might’ve fallen into the sugar laughing oops I mean he might have hurt himself.
I hope a poem comes out of this and lands on the MoP blog. Has anybody got any snigger-worthy stories to share?

Tee hee. Gotta love the grocery store!
Recently I had a 6-year-old tell me he gets lost a lot in crowds, but he doesn’t give up and find another family. Oh no. He keeps looking for HIS family.
How funny! I used to get lost all the time on beaches etc. Never asked for help lol.
Ah the grocery store
A friend of mine’s son, when he grew tired of waiting at the checkout line, yelled, “Barge to the front, Mom!” at the top of his voice. Needless to say she did not, and was pretty much wishing for invisibility at that moment
LOL and I bet the next few minutes seemed like hours.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
That must have been so funny Catherine and yet how well controlled you were. Well done. I’m sure If I’d have been there someone would have heard a snigger.
It was almost like a scene out of your book, David :0)
The coffee aisle can be dangerous. I’ve probably blocked out the last clueless thing I did at the grocery store. Have a wonderful week.
Hee, hee! I’ve dropped a fair few beans downthat aisle
HAGW!
Saw a toddler fall into the frozen peas once when jumping up and down on her seat!
Oh that’s funny! From giddy to still in an instant lol.
Then from still to scream!
I bet!
Poor man! I hate it when the grocery store aisles are too narrow to let two carts pass by.
Don’t worry, Mia he smiled about it
I love how you call shopping carts “trolleys.” It’s so much more elegant, isn’t it?
It’s a fun word. Have you heard of trolley dollies?
I have not! What is a trolly dolly? A baby carriage?
Air hostess!
Love it! Once again, Canada has shown America the way.
Hee hee. Thanks for sharing your funny story!
