The last day of MoP is such a sad day. I’d like to thank Kat so much for all her enthusiasm and work in putting this together with a flood and an accident to deal with no less. So thank you Kat so much. I miss MoP already.
And big thanks too to Freeda Baker Nichols and Jeanne Poland who are wonderfully supportive and I’m learning so much from you clever ladies.
So tomorrow is the first day of month of haiku. I think I’d lose all my subscribers if I post a haiku a day lol. I shall hunt out some good ones from people who know what they are doing and hopefully submit my cheeky chicken story next month too
What have you got planned for February?

That poem made me snort. Well done!
Me too! I can’t believe I’ve never written an old man poem before. I feel an old man blogfest coming on lol. Want some soup?
How about a poem titled “Get the Hell Off of My Lawn!”
Perfect! *snort*
Catherine
Who is that vivacious red head?
Is that your writing on a paper napkin?
You are truly hilarious! Every post is so electric, unusual and unpredictable.
An old man poem?????Your characters are caricatures!
Do I detect an Irish accent?
I am so dense.
Jeanne Poland
Everyone always thinks I’m Irish lol. I’m from Yorkshire, England. Home of Yorkshire puddings
That is Kat Apel who hosted Month of Poetry, she is lovely and has a great picture book This is the Mud.
I know you’re an Aquarius.
When is the Bday again?Jeanne
Capricorn, can’t you tell by the silly goat and the depressing fish lol. It was 13th. I should have had a bigger party. *tosses confetti*
How unique! Picture of poem on wrinkled paper is a perfect touch. Good poem.
Thanks Freeda, I was just avoiding the WordPress formatting losing my soup bowl shape :0)
Cute! I like the fact it’s handwritten – gives a more ‘realistic’ feel to the story.
A soup splatter would have been even better.
sit thee down -loved it!
I should write one with shut thee trap in too lol. Or is it shut thas trap.
Do both!
Love the poem! You are so creative!
Thank you, Susie :0)
HaHa! You are so funny and clever! I’ll be right over to clean up the soup!
:0)
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your poems each day! I will miss them
Awh, thanks Penny. I hope you enjoyed your teaching.
You always have us smiling when we leave your site Catherine. Love the picture of the poem on a wrinkled paper!! And I think your wrong…None of your blogging friends would ever get bored with your posts. You have too much energy and life pulsing thru them. By the way, love the rollercoaster pic. Just more proof of how you embrace life. Arms up face all lit up looking at the view! Another great one!!
Awh thanks, you two! It means a lot. Have a wonderful weekend! :0)
I like it!
