Mortimer is looking for love. And he’s looking

his arm wouldn’t keep falling off). He’s tried
dance lessons (but the ladies found him to be a bit
of a stiff). He’s even been on stalemate.com.

Make an advert for a partner but you have to be something a bit different, like Mortimer.
Write a zombie love poem.
Dress up like a zombie for Valentine’s.
I love this book, it’s something different for this heart and flowers season. Very fun!

This book sounds funny, Catherine! Certainly a different twist on Valentine’s Day!
Thanks so much for adding it to our list – I guess zombies need love too
I put a link to you but it linked half the post and looked silly
It’s a cool book
Your description made me laugh out loud–and that’s not easy to accomplish before my first cup of coffee!!
The author is to thank for that, Laura. Very witty!
This looks like a Valentine’s Day book for boys! What a great idea from a great author.
Absolutely. You can get bored with another heart on the front but a real heart on the front lol that’s different
This is absolutely bodacious! I giggled at this cool twist on THE day of love. Hahahaha. Great activities. (Hmm. Wondering what hubby will think when he comes home On Valentines Day, and I’m dressed like a zombie.) *wink*
Dare you!
Sounds like my kind of book!

I think I just found my son’s Valentine’s Day gift. He is a big fan of Plants vs. Zombies; perhaps the biggest fan.
Glad to help
Hahaha, the humour in this is brilliant!
Yes! Great for kids and parents.
If only his arm wouldn’t keep falling off! Aw. Yes, zombies need love too.
Hey, Coleen. Have you seen Shaun of the Dead? It’s so funny
Awesome! You’ve inspired me to start a zombie board on Pinterest.
Great idea! Am I following you?
I don’t know how to check who’s following me, but I am following you. Here’s my link if you’d like to follow back:

Another great Valentine’s Day share! Love the humor and theme — so will kids. Great choice!
Glad you like it, Pat :0)
I am not into the Zombie thing, but this sounds hilarious! Gotta read it!
I guess I’m not but I have watched Shaun of the dead and then had almost a replica of that when we took a wrongroad in Vancouver. I laughed so hard.
I’m not into zombies – but I had to read this book. I laughed so hard!
Cool!
I don’t like most Valentine’s picture books but this one looks fun!
I’m not “into” Zombies either. But this looks like silly fun! Thanks for the review!
I LOVE the cover! It’s SO funny!
