The golden gun calls
When Goodnight bonds with danger
Solar powered thrills
Catherine Johnson, 2013.
Someone must be able to come up with a better one than that. Who’s seen The Man with the Golden Gun?

Interesting… I haven’t seen any 007 movies…
Ask your mom if you can watch it, Erik. :0)
Love James Bond movies, Catherine! Great haiku.
Here’s mine:
Dealing in danger
Murder with a golden bullet
Bond triumphs again
Are there rules? Is this right…I’ve never done haiku.:)
That’s brilliant, Vivian. Can you try and take a syllable out of line 2 so it’s 5-7-5
Yes, with pleasure.:)
Dealing in danger
Death by a golden bullet
Bond triumphs again
Is it 5-7-5 because that is the haiku pattern you did today? Or is it always 5-7-5? I had checked back a couple of posts (because I wasn’t sure how to do it) and the Polar Bear seemed to be 5-6-5 and the Bird on the Wire seemed to be 5-8-5…so I thought it could be any number of syllables…or maybe it is the way I am pronouncing that second line.:)
Classic haiku is 575 but I think the rules are pretty relaxed these days. I’d better go back and check mine
Love James Bond and haven’t seen the latest… Fun haiku!
Oh Susie, you must! It’s the best one ever!
Is that the one wiht Christopher Lee as Salamander and the little fella from The Love Boat?
Yes! They are a great team, silent but violent.
Where do you find these — you have an endless supply. Not a James Bond fan. But, I like you hiku. Also like Vivian’s example too. This is kid lit, so it does limit.
Do you mean the photo, Pat? Foter.com
Yes, you always seem to find an endless supply of photos. Thanks!
I planting use some from Pinterest too and my own. I’ll have to be on the ball with the source for the Pinterest ones though.
