Pancakes are gross like garbage pails,
They’re gooey and yucky
and get stuck in your nails.
Pancakes are foul like turnip soup,
They’re gooey and yucky
and they turn into gloop.
Pancakes are awful like cabbage pie,
They’re gooey and yucky
I wish they would fly.
Pancakes are rotten like smelly sock stew,
They’re gooey and yucky
I’ve made some for you!

In Sweden it is called Fettisdagen and they eat incredible pastries called semla – it’s a cardamom spiced bun filled with cream and almond paste. Heavenly!
Ooh yum. I’ve been to Sweden I love their bouillards. Have you had them they are like danish pastries but more savoury.
My kids have decided that Mardi Gras is their favorite day of the year because I make them crepes with nutella. Hope you enjoyed your pancakes!
